Lily hopped off of the ledge onto the hard ground below. The impact jarred faer a bit, but fae shook it off. Fae had finally found a quick way out of the twolegplace. Fae gave faeself a couple of quick licks and padded forward carefully, trying to keep low to the ground. The land was unfamiliar to Lily, much different than the twoleg dens, but very similar to the mountains fae had become so used to. Fae heard a low hissing noise to faer left and turned, unable to find the source of the sound. Lily wasn't sure what to do and took a few steps toward the sound, sniffing carefully. Fae froze as fae saw the source of the hissing; a long scaly beast was moving across the stone just ahead of faer, hissing occasionally. Lily stepped back, unsure if this thing was a danger to faer or not. The creature stuck out a forked tongue and turned to face Lily. It reared up, raising it's front off the ground. Lily flattened faer ears to the back of faer head and ran away from it, toward the ledge fae had jumped off of not too long before. Fae stopped and checked behind faer. he beast had not pursued faer. Fae padded over to a shady spot and lay down, catching faer breath. ((sorry if this is too much, I really felt like writing a bunch))

Silvertail was taking a walk to get out of camp at least. Her tail waved in the air as she jumped from ledge to ledge. The greenleaf sunlight baked the rocks, but Silvertail didn't mind that much. She was used to it, really, and she had to admit she really liked it too. As she jumped off another ledge skillfully, a scent that she never smelled before wavered in the air. Curiously, she padded towards the scent, her tail tip twitching. The scent wasn't a clan scent, but it smelled of twolegs. It can't be a kittypet, right? They barely come out here. she thought. She kept in padding towards the scent, her curiosity growing stronger and stronger.

Lily stood up and sniffed the air. Fae caught the scent of another cat, one that smelled like mountains instead of twolegs. I don't need to worry about it, fae thought. Fae strode forward confidently toward a outcropping of rocks, keeping an eye out for things with scales. Lily jumped in surprise as faer saw a flash of silver. Fae crouched and began to slink forward, trying to stay silent the way fae did when fae hunted for prey.

Silvertail peered through the rocks to notice Lily. Her fur bristled as she noticed fae was in the hunting position- but faer eyes were locked on her. She snorted in amusement. The cat obviously didn't know how to sneak up on a cat, or even fight possibly. She unsheathed her claws and flattened her ears. She gave a low hiss, hoping to scare off faer instead of attacking faer.

Lily realized with a start that the silver cat had noticed faer. Fae flattened faer ears and took a step back, slowly getting out of faer crouch. Lily stood tall, trying to make faeself look big rather than small. "Do you live near here?" fae asked, trying to sound as if fae went here regularly.

Silvertail pricked her ears as she noticed the cat leave the hunting postion. "Hello." She mewed, her voice flat. The scent of twolegs flooded her nostrils, but fae wasn't wearing a collar. Prehaps fae was a loner. She also noticed that fae looked rather skinny, and not plump like a kittypet. She leaped out of the rocks and landed infornt of Lily. "And yes, I do. You're on MountainClan territory," she mewed, her claws still unsheated.

"MountainClan?" Lily wrinkled faer nose. "I've never even seen you in the mountains. Besides, it's not like I'm going to leave just because you're here."

Silvertail's ears flanttted as she stared at faer. "Of course you haven't." She snarled. "MountainClan is made up of many cats." She paused for a moment. "Cats that would of teared you up if they caught you." She added. "And stop acting like you own the mountains. The mountains are a harsh place. Ther're not for a cat like you. You don't know how to even sneak up on cat, or even fight at all probably." She hissed. This usally wasn't how Silvertail acted, but she had no time for intruders.

"I fight all the time!" Lily protested, waving faer tail angrily. "It can't be that great in this 'clan' or you'd be with them. And there's plenty of prey here. You'd be hard pressed to keep it all from me." Fae turned and leapt back onto the ledge fae had jumped off of originally. "I belong in these mountains, and you aren't keeping me away."

Silvertail lips drew back to a snarl, and her fur bristled with her back arched. "This is all a game for you, isn't it?!' She hissed at faer. Silvertail wanted to dismiss the outsider peacefully, but that wasn't happening. She then yowled as she leapt at faer, her claws still unsheathed and rage brimming in her eyes.
