Darkeyes pulled some earth of her shrew so they could get it later. "Good catch!" She commented, watching Lightningfoot grab an unsuspecting mouse. "It should always be like this." She meowed, giving her pelt a few licks. "Lots of prey and good company, there is nothing I would want more." Darkeyes cast a look towards Lightningfoot, her pelt prickling with admiration for the tom. She was just glad he was there, there couldn't be anything that would ruin her day now.

Lightningfoot put his mouse with her catch, burying it beneath the dirt. He glanced up at her, finding her eyes sparkling. Lightningfoot's pelt prickled with happiness - it bubbled up in him, more joy than he could describe.
"Darkeyes, I..." he began - but as he opened his mouth, an unfamiliar scent touched his scent glands. His fur stood on end, and he growled, "Who's there?"

Lily stiffened as the cat called out. Fae walked to the border but didn't cross. "I go by Lily." Fae kept faer voice light and nonthreatening, but calm. Fae could smell two cats and desperately hoped they were on the nicer side. I wouldn't be surprised if they chased me out though. From what I've heard this isn't a normal thing for an outsider to be doing. ((my replies may be slow, schools going on. sorry in advance.))

((Same don't worry))
Darkeyes whipped around to watch the unfamiliar cat pad into her view. She growl, her fur fluffed with annoyance and hostility. "Who are you?" She spat, her muscles tense in case the cat wanted a fight. "What do you want?"

"You're from Forestclan, right?" Lily paused and relaxed her shoulders. Gotta look calm. "I live a little ways from here and would like to hear more about the way the clan work. I don't intend to set foot on your land without permission." Alright. Can't go wrong with that.

Darkeyes peered at her, her hostility fading but her caution did not. "Why would you care?" She growled, her eyes slits. Darkeyes wondered how Lightningfoot would react to this stray. Most of the Clan cats were not welcoming to outsiders, Darkeyes wasn't much different but she didn't understand why a simple loner would care about the Clans. She studied Lily, Darkeyes thought it was a little rude the cat hadn't introduced herself but right now they weren't technically on ForestClan land, they weren't a threat currently.

Lightningfoot regarded fae with narrowed eyes and hackle-fur raised. Though part of him admired the loner for making it through the mountains without being eaten, another part of him didn't like faer presence this far into the Valley. Outsiders normally don't make it this far, he thought. They usually give up or die.
If fae was here, it could mean that fae posed a threat to ForestClan. He slid out his claws - he wouldn't shred the loner unless he had to. Fae must have come in through FlameClan territory, Lightningfoot thought. Those cats are always soft where it counts!
"You've come far," Lightningfoot meowed, a stern edge in his voice. "Far more than a 'little ways'. This Valley is not your territory to traipse about in, stranger. I suggest you turn back."

((lily did introduce faeself a couple posts back)) Lily's fur raised involuntarily at Lightningfoot's words. I came here with intentions of being nice, but these cats are making it awfully hard. "I live between the twoleg dens and Mountainclan. I don't see that as all that far away to be honest with you. Sorry for the confusion." Lily felt faer fur settle slightly. Talking it out fixing these thing usually. There's only one clan after this. Two chances left. "As for why I care, I hate living alone."

Lightningfoot glanced at Darkeyes. What could Lily mean by faer hating to live alone? Surely fae doesn't think fae can just ask and be let into our Clan! Lightningfoot thought. The idea just felt wrong - ForestClan hadn't tolerated outsiders in such a manner before! Frankly he was still a little miffed that Lily's arrival had spoiled his and Darkeyes' outing.
"What do you think of this?" he asked Darkeyes. "Should we take faer to see Foxstar?" Maybe he can stop faer from snooping about here anymore.

Darkeyes let of a growl of annoyance, she was really into the mood to deal with some nosy stray who was going to hightail out of it the second a snowflake dropped. "Fae should know exactly what fae is getting into." Darkeyes growled, her eyes narrowed. "If any cat sees faer as a threat, fae isn't going to come out on the better end of that challenge." She warned, her fur bristling. She glanced at Lightningfoot, wondering exactly what the tom thought about Lily being so curious. Her ears twitched as she thought over the proposal, fae didn't seem like she was likely to cause any damage, and Foxstar would want to know why a random cat was sniffing around the area. Darkeyes just wondered why fae had to spoil her and Lightingfoot's outing together. "If you think it is the right idea to take fae to Foxstar, I would support you." Darkeyes promised Lightnigfoot, keeping a wary eye on Lily.
((I hope I used the pronouns correctly, never have used them before so if I didn't apologizes!!))
