Territory:
FlameClan's territory is mostly barren, with long grasses growing up around the charred, ruined stumps of trees. some trees still stand completely - but they are devoid of leaves. New trees are growing closer to ForestClan territory thanks to seedlings floating on the breeze, but they are still young.
The ground is soft and fertile - herbs and other plants grow lushly here, thanks to the ashes of the fire. Their only water source, however, is the river on the far end of their territory that marks their border with MountainClan. The territory near that river is hillier and more like a moorland than the flat plain that is the rest of their territory.
Newleaf - in newleaf, rain gathers in puddles in the plains; but most cats do not drink from them, as they sometimes contain trace amounts of ash or soot. Breezes travel easily in FlameClan territory because of the lack of trees. Newleaf floods do affect FlameClan, but not as much as other Clan's.
Greenleaf - there is hardly escape from the heat in greenleaf, but FlameClan cats have naturally shorter pelts. The grass of their plains dries easily in the sun. When storms lash the plains, FlameClan cats pray fervently that another fire will not take place.
Leaf-fall - FlameClan doesn't have to worry too much in leaf-fall - leaves do not fall in their territory as there aren't as many trees. Most newleaf concerns apply here.
Leaf-bare - snow covers FlameClan territory, making it hard to hunt and survive. FlameClan, however, has adapted several different hunting techniques to ensure that there is always something to eat.
Camp:
FlameClan makes their camp against the rocky, mountainous walls of the Valley - dens are deep in caves and crevices. Their camp is off the ground and protected from most predators. It is located in the uppermost curve of the Valley.
Nearest to the ground is the warrior's den (1, red), situated in a large cave next to a well-worn path into the crags. On the next level, in caves of their own, are the apprentice's den (2, yellow) and the medicine cat's den (3, green). On the next level, from a path next to the medicine cat's den, is the nursery (4, sky blue) and elder's den (5, blue). Topmost of all, in a cave that sits before a large precipice, is the leader's den (6 pink).
Cats gather down below, in the shadow of the aforementioned precipice, called the Ledge (7, hot pink) for Clan meetings.
Skills:
FlameClan cats are fast and good runners. They chase prey like rabbits, and can leap high distances to catch birds and other flying prey. Mice and other small mammals are also hunted in their territory. Their territory is open, with little cover, so hunters are fast and skilled in killing prey quickly and efficiently.
FlameClan cats are skilled at leaping from cliff to cliff with powerful legs and have pads said to be hard as stone, like MountainClan.
FlameClan battle moves are similar to ForestClan, but make use of FlameClan's newly-developed physical strengths alongside their speed and leaping abilities.
