FlameClan:
Bluestripe frowned. She wasn't going to question Buzzardstar in public, but she thought that her leader was being a little too gentle. An implicit threat wasn't enough with these cats.
Still, she knew best. Even with a truce, nothing would be stopping an enraged party of ForestClan cats from raiding their camp later...
Her ears flattened against her skull at Squirrelstar's jab. MountainClan was so snotty! She wouldn't be saying that if the fur was falling off her cats' ribs. While Bluestripe might have put the incident differently, that wasn't Squirrelstar's business. This was between ForestClan and FlameClan! She shot her best withering glare at the scruffy MountainClan leader.
And then Foxstar questioning Buzzardstar as well? The nerve! Bluestripe had half a mind to march up and shave off a couple whiskers for his efforts.
Redpaw almost squealed at Squirrelstar's jab. She didn't really understand everything that was going on, and now the scary MountainClan leader was getting herself involved? She slunk off, trying to find a shadow to hide in. While gazing about, she accidentally bumped into someone who smelled like ForestClan. Mortified, she scrambled away, squeaking an apology.
MountainClan:
Crowtail almost let a sigh escape as Squirrelstar butted in after Buzzardstar. She didn't often question her leader, but, really? It had taken long enough to get everyone together. The last thing she wanted was MountainClan getted tangled in some weird scrap between the other clans.
She tried to catch Silvertail's eye. The other she-cat seemed just as irritated as she was.

FlameClan
"If you're suggesting that I hand over FlameClan to you, when Dark Forest freezes over," she spat, ears flatten back, "I may not like conflict, but I'm a not coward that turns to a clan with her tail behind her back," tail lashing wild, as she shot the angry glare to the ForestClan leader. She was tired of bottling up her anger just stop some unavoidable conflict, it was first since a long time had she lost her temper. The torbie was just shaking with all this anger, that deep down it was frightening herself.
OceanClan
"Holy mackerel," Breamstream whispered, "Buzzardstar looks like she going to lose it," they ruffled up their fur. They would hate to be faced with any of the leaders' rage.

MountainClan:
Squirrelstar flicked her stump tail at the way Buzzardstar's fur fluffed up. Now that was what a leader ought to do to defend her Clan! A passive leader was a weak one - a leader needed to take action!
Though Squirrelstar had her own issues on her mind, and she hadn't wanted to incite conflict because it would drag out the Gathering, she couldn't help but smirk a little at Buzzardstar.

FlameClan
Thrushheart shifted his furious gaze between Buzzardstar and Foxstar. First Buzzardstar refuses to call ForestClan out for their trespassing, and then Foxstar has the audacity to suggest they join ForestClan!
"Things are bad in FlameClan, but we don't need their help!" He thought. Even as that thought passed through his minds, Thrushheart compared FlameClan's malnourished bodies to ForestClan's healthy ones. "Or do we?"

OceanClan-
Foggystar watched the argument spark in silence. His ears were flattened, and his stare was reproachful. He wondered if he should step in and stop the fight before it got any worse- but this wasn't his battle. As he had said before, OceanClan was in a state of peace, and he didn't want to drag his clan into this and disrupt it. Still, he didn't want things to escalate into something much bigger, as war never good for any of the clans, whether they were in it or not. For all he knew, OceanClan could end up getting dragged into the spat anyway, even if he didn't end up getting between Foxstar and Buzzardstar. Flexing his claws into the rough bark of the Moontree's roots, he stayed sitting, waiting for a possible opening for him to jump in and prevent the two leaders from saying something they'll regret.
FlameClan-
Smokefang gaped fearfully as her leader suddenly snapped at Foxstar. This is bad. This is very bad, she thought. But she understood Buzzardstar's anger; the whole Gathering she's had to watch the ForestClan cats wander about, flaunting their round stomachs and gleaming pelts while FlameClan sat with their ribs poking out from beneath their thinning fur. But a fight was the last thing Smokefang wanted, especially not here.

Flameclan:
Pebblefoot's mouth hung open as she watched her leader snap at Mountainclan cat. There was no way they were going to fight, they couldn't. There was no real justification for a fight, sure, Forestclan warriors were as fat as kittypets, but that didn't mean they were the ones stealing the prey. Quickly she pushed herself up into a sitting position, and began nervously flexing her claws in and out of the ground. Please Starclan, don't let this turn into a big thing...

ForestClan: Darkeyes flattened her ears in embarrassment then anger when Buzzardstar spoke. She couldn't believe the nerve of the Clan leader to acuse ForestClan of chasing off their prey! And Foxstar hadn't even defended her! She flicked her tail in anger and leaned up against Lighningfoot. "I didn't steal their prey." She spat, in a way wanting to leap up and tell the leader off. She knew it was just make things worse but Darkeyes wasn't one for making things easy. "This is fox-dung." She growled into Lightningfoot's ear.
OceanClan: Silverstorm's tail flickered behind her, she didn't like where this was going and by the look of it, neither did Foggystar. She couldn't believe Squirrelstar had just decided to be so rude like that. "I can't believe StarClan thought it would be a good idea to give you nine lives." Silverstorm thought rudely. She didn't mean to be so harsh but it was obvious things were tense enough and if ForestClan really was stealing prey, it was an issue between ForestClan and FlameClan, Squirrelstar had no right to get involved.

ForestClan:
Lightningfoot bristled a little. Why wasn't Foxstar defending his Clanmates against Buzzardstar's accusations? It had been an accident, but Darkeyes hadn't stolen anything!
"Definitely," Lightningfoot agreed. "Foxstar better stand up for the Clan soon, or there will be a riot."

ForestClan: Darkeyes growled, her yellow eyes glaring at her leader. She had never felt so annoyed! She shuffled her paws, not sure what to do. "I am not one to fight but I'm not going to let FlameClan prance around and act like we are stealing their prey! If a Clan can't catch their own prey it's not our fault!" Her claws came out and she clawed the ground, reassured by their sharpness but it was doing nothing to help her mood.

ForestClan
Foxstar flicked his tail over his paws. He wasn't that surprised the way Buzzardstar reacted- he was expecting something like this. "It was just a offer." Foxstar mewed harshly. "Rivals or not, cats are still cats. You didn't accept the offer, so your clan will only suffer more." Foxstar paused for a second, before adding, "and if you did accept the offer, your clan would have gone to bed full, not starving. I guess you don't want that for your clan. And why would my warriors be even hunting in FlameClan land? We have plenty of prey in the forest." He kept his face expressionless. Maybe Buzzardstar would come to her senses. He glanced up, and the moon was still shining bright over the clans. Hmm.. maybe StarClan agrees with me. Or Buzzardstar He thought.
