"Nope, you're spot on." Briarstorm meowed quietly. "So now here's the real question, which one should you go for first, the mouse or the thrush?"

Stormpaw stood quiet a few moments before nodding towards the trees where the thrush was, "If I go for the mouse the thrush might let out a warning call if it hears me, the mouse will stay quiet either way."

Briarstorm nodded at his apprentice, smiling slightly.
"So what are you waiting for?" He asked. "Go for it."

Stormpaw quickly dropped into a crouch, his paws making close to no sound as he crept slowly across the forest floor. When he had the thrush in sight, he braced himself, the bird was busy pulling at a worm, not aware of the danger that lurked a few tail-lengths away. Stormpaw stood completely silent for a few heartbeats before he leaped, landing right atop the thrush, killing it with a swift bite to the neck.
Swiping his tongue over his mouth he picked up the bird and trotted back to Briarstorm, dropping the thrush at his paws, "So, find any flaws?"

"Not this time." Briarstorm chuckled. "But now you've gotta go for the mouse. If you didn't scare it away, of course."

Stormpaw proudly padded towards the bush where he last heard the mouse. Stopping about two tail-lengths away he lifted his muzzle and tasted the air. He then dropped into a crouch and started creeping towards a bramble thicket not far away. Carefully placing one paw in front of the other, he crept steadily towards the brambles. He stopped, and stood still, almost holding his breath.
Suddenly he darted forward, pulling the mouse out from beneath the brambles, and killing it with a swift bite to the neck. He then flung the mouse towards Briarstorm, before padding over. "Anything to say or should we keep going?"
