((I didn't know either but eh whatever and of course you can bring in Rookfoot!))
Silverstorm nodded at Foggystar and turned out, hearing another cat. She saw Rookfoot grooming herself and stood up and walked over to her, giving her a greeting. "Rookfoot! We are planing a dusk patrol, would you like to come?" Silverstorm asked, knowing it was kind of a silly question, she had never known Rookfoot to try and back out of a patrol. "We were going to do a long patrol across both borders if you think you would be up for it." Silverstorm meowed politely. She was anxious to go and hoped Skimmerfrost would finish her meal soon.

Watching Silverstorm walk over to speak to Rookfoot, Skimmerfrost stooped down and finished her fish as quickly as she could. The sun's heat was fading fast, and she knew how antsy her mother could get. The remains of the fish were gone in a few quick bites. Satisfied, Skimmerfrost rose and made her way towards the other two cats, "Ready to go." She announced, staying on her paws and glancing at the cave entrance to locate Foggystar.

(Yeah I guess it doesn't matter that much, and thanks!)
Rookfoot glanced up as Silverstorm approached her. She let out a sigh of relief, "Yes, please! Thank StarClan, I was worried I might have died of boredom if I had stayed one more minute in this cave. Let's go." Hopping to her feet, she spotted Foggystar and Skimmerfrost gathered by the exit and sped off towards them, blowing right past the deputy. Despite her excitement about getting out of camp, she felt rather worried about going out with both Silverstorm and Foggystar. She didn't want to make a mistake and lose her temper like she usually did around two of the most important cats in OceanClan. That wasn't going to stop her though. She desperately needed to be out and moving and doing things in order for her to relax.
"Good," Foggystar mewed, looking away from the ocean as Skimmerfrost trotted up to him. "And by the looks of it, so are Silverstorm and Rookfoot," he said with a hint of amusement as the latter shot across to the sandy clearing on her long legs.

Skimmerfrost looked back the way Foggystar indicated and watched with pricked ears. Rookfoot looked like she was approaching a little quickly, so Skimmerfrost moved to the side of the entrance to make sure she wasn't bowled over. As Rookfoot came into hearing distance, she ventured a warning, "Slow down, the borders aren't going anywhere."

Silverstorm purred in amusement, glad that the warrior could act so carefree and excited. She was glad there weren't many predators on OceanClan territory, or she would be worried Rookfoot would run into something dangerous. "Yes but daylight is." Silverstorm joked, the sun still setting in the sky. She was happy to get out and dusk was one of her favorite times of the day.

Skimmerfrost flicked her tail. A quick glance at the slowly setting sun told her all she needed to know. She conceded, if somewhat begrudgingly, "Point taken." She gave a sidelong look at her mother, "We don't need you spraining a paw, though. Be careful."

"Exactly, which is why we get moving instead of sitting around chatting 'til midnight," she said snappily, slowing to a halt as she neared the rest of the patrol. Returning her daughter's glance, she growled, "You say that like I'm an apprentice tottering out of camp for the first time in their life. I'm fine, Skimmerfrost, I am very much capable of not tripping over my own feet, thank you very much." Though her words were sharp, there was a playful glint in her eyes.
"Yes, well, anyway, is everyone ready to go?" Foggystar said, raising his voice to compete with Rookfoot's jabbering.

"Very ready." Silverstorm meowed, shooting a warning glance to the mother an daughter pair. She wasn't feeling a huge argument today, she just wanted to check the borders and make sure everything was safe on their side of the territory. "Lead the way Foggystar." She said, dipping her head towards her leader.

Foggystar gave her a little nod and stood, his feathery tail waving behind him as he padded out of the cave and into the dying sunlight. He took in a deep breath of the salty wind, enjoying the feeling of the sea spray tickling his fur. Sand flowed between his toes, and as he stepped onto the part of the beach recently touched by the waves it began to stick to his paw pads, which was rather unpleasant and annoying, but a comforting reminder that he was where he was most comfortable, right by the ocean.
Rookfoot caught Silverstorm's gaze and gave a little sniff and a flick of her ear. As she followed Foggystar outside she quietly hoped that Silverstorm wouldn't be on her case the whole way round the territory. If she was going to badger her about her behavior, she might as well return the favor.

Skimmerfrost's ears twitched back slightly at the chastising look Silverstorm gave her, but she pushed down the pang of guilt, kept her face passive, and merely followed Rookfoot and Foggystar out of the cave with a firm step her tail waving proudly. The sun was dipping closer to the horizon, but the humid oceanside air kept the temperature pleasant. Skimmerfrost reveled in the feel of it, this was great weather for a patrol.
