(Note: This thread takes place after the events of the Gathering.)
Buzzardstar was in her den, she spent most her days after that fiasco at Gathering there, collecting her thoughts and worries, oh StarClan, was I right to snap like that. Sure he was trying to take my clan, but didn't I really have to lose it, I-I feel so ashamed of myself curling up into a ball, it hurt Buzzardstar to just look at her clanmates, she wasn't sure if they agreed with her decision to not join with ForestClan, Buzzardstar had many worries nowadays like if she was even fit to be leader. Is the lack of prey a sign from StarClan that they made a mistake in making me leader she flatten her ears listening to rumble of her stomach I just don't know anymore.

Morningflower paused uncertainly outside of Buzzardstar's den. Alright, I've got to do this. There's not much else that can be done, by me at least. "Buzzardstar?" Morningflower called out softly. I could just go in, but it wouldn't feel right. She's the leader after all. "I need to speak with you about something. Multiple things actually." She shifted her paws slightly and peered into the den. She could see Buzzardstar clearly. I was worried she might be asleep for a moment there.

"Hmm," Buzzardstar answered glancing at Morningflower, "come in, and just tell me what is that you want to discuss," the torbie shifting herself up, curling her tail around her paws. Let me guess StarClan is angry because I snapped at the Gathering, is that it, she thought bitterly, she never wanted to anger her ancestors, but she felt like what she did that the gathering certain made them irate.

Morningflower stepped inside the den. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. "I'm considering visiting the moontree. Starclan may have some guidance for us, whether it'll be to wait it out or not I don't know." Morningflower looked at her leader. Buzzardstar seemed upset. Is she alright? There's a lot to be worried about, but I can't allow our leader to be upset at a time like this. "Also... Are you alright? You seem bothered by something."

Buzzardstar nodded, "alright then," she said, "asking StarClan is probably the best thing to do at a time like this." The torbie leader frowned, "I'm just upset at what I did at the gathering....It wasn't right for me to snap, but I just got angry," she huffed, "I feel like StarClan is angry at me, like they're angry of how weak I am of a leader."

Morningflower nodded. "You weren't wrong in my opinion. Foxstar was the one out of line. Mountainclan wouldn't ask Oceanclan to join them in this situation, so what makes Foxstar think that he can?" Morningflower sighed. "I'll go in two days. Hopefully this will all end soon and everything will be back to normal." Morningflower dipped her head to her leader. Things will get better. They always do. "I'll be going now." She turned and headed out of the den and back into camp.

Buzzardstar watched as the medicine cat left, she let out a silent sigh and curled up on her nest. "Dear StarClan, please share me your bird of wisdom," she stated softly and gave a sad chuckle. I can't even make a proper pun without being sad, I hate this, you know what I need some buzzard and joy. Glancing at the ceiling of her den, she gave soft, but still a very sad chuckle at the pun she made in her mind. She guessed that making puns would make her somewhat happy, if only I had someone to make puns with.
