Lily scanned the ground ahead of faer. Fae knew that this third clan's territory started when the forest began, and fae could easily smell the cats from here. Fae padded toward the border and stopped, not just in front of it as fae had done last time, but quite a ways back. It was late in the day, and Lily could feel the heat on faer back. Finally some cats who aren't on open ground. I won't be baking if I'm under trees. Fae sniffed the air for prey-scent. There wasn't much on this stretch of ground, but fae was certain the forest was teeming with prey hiding from the sun. Looking ahead, fae stopped a bush about a fox length from where fae thought the border would be. That can work for some shade. Lily padded forward, keeping careful track with faer nose. Fae stopped at the bush. The border was right where fae had guessed it would be. Fae sat under the bush and kept a close eye on the woods in front of faer. Let's try this again.

((I'll get Lily's introduction rolling. Lightningfoot will sniff her scent, and then she can come out.))
