MountainClan:Squirrelstar shifted on her paws. She glanced back at her party - a small band of warriors, ones who had proven themselves on wolf watching duties. She hadn't wanted to bring too many, in case the threat touched home, and she hoped that the other Clans wouldn't make a huge stink about it. At least FlameClan and ForestClan still seem to be fighting, she thought. Should keep their minds off of the other Clans for a while.Squirrelstar inclined her head, raising her tail. The Gathering would only be held up if they waited any longer. She plunged into the hollow of the Moontree, her warriors following. FlameClan:Firetail frowned. He had almost not been able to attend this Gathering - he wished he'd said "no" to Bluestripe. He was here now, though, and he was doing his best not to look at the ForestClan party with their sleek coats and thick stomachs. Hunger gnawed at his belly. Leaf-fall was coming and the slightly - only slightly - cooler climes were bringing back prey... but it was still too little to make a difference. Looking around at his Clan, he feared what might happen come leaf-bare. Here's hoping no fighting breaks out again, Firetail thought, thinking of last time. I don't think Squirrelstar and Foggystar could stop us this time.ForestClan:Lightningfoot flicked his tail. He couldn't believe he'd been selected to go to another Gathering, after what happened at the last one. How dare they attack Darkeyes! he thought, bristling a little. How dare they spit on our offer of helping them! Bunch of squirrel-brained fools! He glanced over at the FlameClan party. They were still skinny as ever, even from this distance. The light from the Moontree only seemed to highlight their boney features. "If they know what's good for them," Lightningfoot grumbled, "they'd best keep their mouths shut about prey-stealing." ((I have decided that none of my OceanClan cats will attend - Mudpath was not chosen to go, and Turtlepaw declined the offer due to the last Gathering's near-fight. If anyone wishes to refresh themselves on what happened last time, here is the previous Gathering thread.
((Tensions are high! Let's see where this goes - Twilight))

(Crowtail went last time, I'll say she bowed out of this one. Gotta guard camp. Pikepaw's at home as well- baby didn't want to leave Turtlepaw behind. Redpaw's pretty ill as well, so it's Bluestripe, Whitecloud & Rainfall.) FlameClan: Bluestripe stood near Buzzardstar, tail twitching. One moon, and her clan was still starving. This drought was skirting far too close to leaf-fall for her comfort. They might lose cats in leafbare- they couldn't afford that, with so many rivals. OceanClan might bail them out in a fight, but they couldn't keep illness away. She took little notice of the other clans streaming in. Buzzardstar- no, FlameClan, was what mattered to her. Whitecloud stood towards the fringes of the FlameClan crowd. MountainClan had already entered. Squirrelstar looked as imperious as ever. Apparently, there had been fighting last gathering. She could just hope there wouldn't be a repeat. She wasn't a bad fighter, but it left one awfully shaken. Not that she could rightfully object to an occasion to sink her claws into a ForestClan cat. The cats around her looked upset or queasy. Even goofy Firetail looked ill at ease. Perhaps it was for the better they'd brought her, a -cloud cat, along. ForestClan:
Rainfall stood in the center of the ForestClan cats. The last gathering, apparently, had been quite a riot. Good thing they had missed it. It still seemed tense this time... well, FlameClan was always looking for a fight, and MountainClan wasn't to be trusted. They heard Lightningfoot grumbling nearby. "It wasn't even stealing, right? Just a silly accident." Hadn't some FlameClan cat nearly mauled poor Darkeyes? And she had taken that accident so hard.

ForestClan: Darkeyes nodded at Rainfall, a growl beginning in her throat. "Yes it was, and I didn't even try to hide it." She meowed bitterly, her eyes fixed in front of her. She almost had declined to go to the Gathering but Lightningfoot had decided to go so Darkeyes decided she would tag along. She flicked her tail in annoyance, her fur bristling. If FlameClan says one more thing I might lose my mind! She thought angrily, her tail lashing and her ears flat.
MountainClan: Sheeppaw followed Squirrelstar with excitement. He hadn't been to last moon's Gathering and his paws were itching to see the tension between FlameClan and ForestClan that everyone had been chatting about for a moon. He couldn't believe any cats would ever think about breaking the truce, both Clans were being mouse-brained. Sheeppaw was also happy that Squirrelstar had let he come because he hadn't been out of camp for what felt like moons. With the wolf prowling around Sheeppaw had been basically confined to camp with the other apprentices, he hadn't been able to run in moons!
OceanClan: At least it doesn't seem as uncomfortable as last time. Silverstorm thought optimistically, trying to convince herself. Who am I kidding? She thought angrily. All the Clans want to bite each other's heads off, especially considering how last Gathering went. The sooner the Gathering was over, the happier Silverstorm would be.

ForestClan:
Lightningfoot lashed his tail. "If FlameClan tries anything, they'll be sorry," he growled. "ForestClan won't be the ones breaking the truce this Gathering." He pressed close to Darkeyes, grateful that they weren't hiding their affection for one another anymore.
Will StarClan let it get that far again? Lightningfoot wondered. What are our warrior ancestors thinking? Bring the rain, and shut FlameClan up so we can go on in peace!

ForestClan: Once again Darkeyes felt a wave of affection for Lightningfoot and she pressed against him, glad to feel his warmth and presence beside her. "Thanks." She muttered into the tom's ear. Darkeyes felt much more relaxed knowing that the snowy warrior had her back if things went bad again.
StarClan please don't let my Clan pay for some stupid mistake! She prayed silently to her ancestors. Darkeyes just wanted the Gathering to start and end with no bad arguments. Let the truce uphold!

FlameClan
Buzzardstar gave a miserable look to Bluestorm, to be honest Buzzardstar didn't want to go the Gathering, with the fiasco that happened last one caused by her, but she didn't want to leave Bluestorm to those self-entitled ForestClanners who were too arrogant to stay out FlameClan's business and then have the nerve to take her clan. She gave an annoyed look to the crowds of cats and headed over to where the leaders where. Ears prickled down and a look that said 'annoy me and I'll most definitely gut you open.' She probably would if she was asked once again to hand over her clan to those entitled boars.
(Yeah the rest of my cats aren't going, Breamstream will mostly attend one after FlameClan and ForestClan plot, and Duskfeather is pretty much doesn't like going to Gathering, she's not big fan of crowds)

ForestClan:
Rainfall nodded. "FlameClan has nothing to complain about- it's not like they haven't ever trespassed in our home!"
Darkeyes and Lightningfoot seemed a little preoccupied. Rainfall didn't stare- that would be rude. Privately, they couldn't help but wonder if they planned on having kits. Was that a little too soon?
FlameClan:
Buzzardstar looked so worried. Bluestripe felt the both of them might wilt before the end of this gathering.
She had to put on a strong face for her clan. They all were suffering in this, and Thrushheart was taking it far too hard. Oh, she was mad at him. No FlameClan warrior should act like that- but when it came down to it, wasn't he acting that way because he was upset?
She would wait until later to try and soothe Buzzardstar. Right now, there was business to be done. FlameClan cats joined the present clans, and Bluestripe melted in with the crowd. She spotted Silverstorm and a few other cats she recognized around the Moontree.
Buzzardstar seemed to be having a moment. Whitecloud couldn't blame her- those ForestClan foxes didn't seem any nicer than they'd supposedly been last gathering. Hopefully, with the truce broken last gathering, everyone would hold their tongues. Privately, she didn't think Buzzardstar had said anything wrong.
She joined the present cats. She didn't spot anyone she recognized in MountainClan, beyond Squirrelstar herself. Not that she really had friends there- it was a stretch to even get to talk with them.

FlameClan:
Firetail glanced at the MountainClan cats. Squirrelstar looked as proud as ever, settled up on the roots of the Moontree, but Firetail's attention was on her Clan. There were few warriors here tonight - it seemed like Squirrelstar had brought just the bare minimum. Though she usually wasn't frivolous with whom she brought to a Gathering - he'd heard tell that Squirrelstar only brought those that proved themselves - it seemed like there were less than usual.
He bristled at the thought of talking to one of them, though - he didn't have much love for MountainClan. They weren't his least favorite Clan at the moment, but he could hardly like the Clan that had been responsible for his parents' deaths.
Firetail settled himself with his own Clan, content to leave MountainClan alone. It was the way those stone-hearts wanted it, anyway.

((I'm gonna say that Emberfur opted out of this gathering to avoid having to face ForestClan))
Raventail stood behind Squirrelstar as they waited to enter the hollow. He watched his leader for a moment and wondered if she would say anything to the other Clans about the threat to their Clan. It seemed like it would be a bad idea to bring it up before they had a definite plan for how to deal with it. The black medicine cat shook his head and followed after his leader as she lead them down. He took his place where the medicine cats always sat and waited for the other Clans to arrive. It was hard to miss how FlameClan was still skin and bones and ForestClan was still well fed. With them still fighting, he doubted it would be the short, boring gathering he was hoping for.

OceanClan-
Foggystar sat at his usual spot beneath the Moontree in resolute silence. The last Gathering he had been blank faced and calm; now there was nothing he could do to hide the anxiety in his gaze. What if this Gathering would end up even worse that the one just a moon ago? He and Squirrelstar had been able to stop one fight, but any more and there would have been little he could do, except pray to StarClan to put an end to the madness. He tried to remain positive, reminding himself that ForestClan and FlameClan probably had learned their lesson and wouldn't start anything again, but he knew that was just wishful thinking.
Rookfoot paced restless through the crowded clearing. She was having a lot of trouble finding a good place to settle down for the rest of the Gathering; cats kept getting up and jostling around, all too nervous to just pick a darn spot to sit and stay there. She shoved her way through a knot of apprentices, only stepping on a few tails in the process, and eventually came upon a small patch of earth beside a clump of ForestClan warriors, which she quickly claimed before anyone else could.
FlameClan-
"Hey, watch it!" Silverpaw squeaked as an OceanClan warrior thrust her way past the apprentice, only receiving a mutter of an apology before the black and white she cat dashed off out of sight. Jerk, she thought to herself, pouting at the ground. Normally, coming to a Gathering was one of Silverpaw's favorite perks of rising to apprentice status, but tonight she would have much rather preferred being back at camp. Everyone was so angry and on edge that she couldn't help but catch on to the dark mood passing over the clearing and succumb to it herself. Stupid ForestClan. They just had to go and start this mess.
