Icescale nodded in agreement, then smiled, she loved fishing, it was her best skill. Purring loudly, the tabby began kneading the sand in excitement. "Shrewheart, are you fit to fish?" Icescale mused, turning to face the tom.

(Writer's block is kinda different for me. When I have it, I can never type things out the way I want to. :V In a way, it makes me feel like what I type is lacking something.)
Shrewheart blinked, getting back up to his paws. "I think so," he answered, gently placing his foot down and applying pressure to it. He flinched for a second, but the pain felt more like a cracked pad than anything. He was sure that it wouldn't be too much trouble to continue walking on it.
The tom couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed when Icescale seemed to fuss so much over him. Of course, Shrewheart would never show this, and instead he gave a small smile, doing his best to remove any former traces of his fear to show that he was alright. He hardly listened to the rest of Icescale and Silverstorm's conversation, as he was more focused on shifting his paw into a more comfortable position.
"Fish?" He echoed, removing his gaze from his forepaw. Earlier, the idea of swimming had irritated him, but, truthfully, taking a small break from crab hunting was a relief. "Sounds like a great idea," he commented, then referred back to his previous fishing experience by meowing, "I don't want to go home with just a measly minnow, anyway. It's hardly enough to feed more than one cat." With wide eyes, he suddenly realized that he had no idea where he had put the minnow in the first place. Sure, it wasn't that big, but to him, wasting prey like that was a horrible thing to do. He couldn't just pass it off like it was nothing.
Blinking it off, he hoped that his clanmates hadn't noticed his reaction. "Oh, and speaking of that," he began, already feeling foolish for having to admit this, "can you guys keep an eye out for any stray fish lying in the sand? I actually lost that very same minnow a while back."
EDIT: (Woah. o-o Glad I caught that layout glitch early.)

Silverstorm chuckled at Shrewheart, she was relieved that the tom's paw was okay. "Fishing is a good idea, we have these crabs but there since we are here we should fish." She turned her head towards the water, trying to figure out where the best places to fish were. It was hot out and since the sun was so high, they would need somewhere where their shadows wouldn't scare all the fish away. "We should try more downstream." She decided, "It gets more shallow there and the water doesn't move as fast. Even though the tom said he was okay, she didn't want him to strain his paw. Silverstorm fixed her amber eyes on Shrewheart. "If that paw is giving you any trouble tell me right away and we will get you to Splashmint." Whether the tom would actually do what he was told or not, Silverstorm had no idea, but she didn't want any more injuries today.

"Don't worry," Shrewheart replied, flicking one of his ears. He didn't enjoy hearing them worry, but then again, he was beginning to wonder if he was downplaying how bad the situation looked. He hoped they weren't too concerned about it. "If it gets too hard to walk on, I'll warn you right away."
Attempting to stray away from the subject of his foot, Shrewheart glanced up at the sky. "How long do you think we'll hunt?" he asked, keeping his tone lighthearted. "If it's not too long, we can try and make a competition out of it-- the cat with the most fish by the end of it gets to take home the biggest catch."

Icescale beamed, she was glad that the tom was okay, and she always loved a good competition. Getting up, the tabby padded around the small group of cats, ear perked up, and tail up high. "I think the idea of a competition is a great idea," she meowed, not being able to stop the mischievous glint in her eyes. Turning Icescale began downstream.

Silverstorm gave the sky a quick glance, they had plenty of time to fish. "Sounds like fun!" She meowed, trying not to sound as she was excited as she was. She felt like a kit again but Silverstorm was excited for some good competition. She padded after Icescale, hoping that she was going to take home the prize.

Shrewheart followed as well, glad to know that almost all of them had agreed to his suggestion. All he hoped for now was for one of them to find a huge fish, or else winning wouldn't be much of a joy.
Along the way, Shrewheart's trip was so-so. He walked on his bad paw lopsided, so that the part that got the worst of the crab's claws didn't hinder him. Occasionally, he would accidentally place his entire paw down and yank it back up in surprise, but he soon got used to it and stopped flinching almost entirely.
(Should we wait for Silvereo to post again? I don't wanna leave her behind. :S)

((yeah probably a good idea))
Silverstorm gave the tom an angry look, "Great StarClan Shrewheart if we get back to camp and Splashmint yells at me for letting you go out I swear to StarClan I will drop your nest into the river." She meowed, staring at his paw. Silverstorm wished she knew herb basics so she could help the tom, at the moment she felt a bit helpless.

"I'm fine," Shrewheart insisted, taking more notice to how he placed his paws. "It's just a minor annoyance. I'll get over it." Despite his first statement being true, Shrewheart couldn’t help but worry that Silverstorm was onto something. Could moving on like this worsen his injury? The thought of being held in the Medicine Cat den for a moon was enough to make the tom move faster. Though, instead of proving he was fine, this only made Shrewheart stumble more frequently.

Silverstorm let out a growl of annoyance, she didn't know why she bothered warning her warriors when they were too stubborn to listen. "Okay Shrewheart." She meowed, trying to pretend she didn't see the tom stumbling around. "Where do you guys want to stop?"
